Michael is home...Yay...Christmas again!

Michael arrived home this morning and we picked him up from the airport, had some pizza, and then headed home to do Christmas again. I was so excited to give him his gifts this year and spend some time with him after he had been away for a few days.

The tree again...this time with Michael's presents under it.

Gift from Grandma and Grandpa DeSilva (Dad and Vicki)...a new chair for his desk. His old one had a broken wheel and would occasionally pop off and send Michael falling onto the floor. He was very thankful for the new chair.

Boxes are fun to play in at any age.

Video Game from Dad and Vicki. He looks happy.

Greg opening his gift from Michael.

New scarf from Greg and I. It will be needed soon as the temperature here is expected to drop down to zero in the next month.

Opening my gift from my loving son, Michael.

I have been wanting these PJ Pants from AE for two months now. I was so happy that Michael got them for me. Great gift.

And my other gift from my son. I have been wanting warm shoes to wear around the house because my feet are always freezing. My son picked these ones out at AE and I love them. Now I can have warm feet all day :-)

Opening more presents.

Thermal from the Gap.

The excited and joyful look is because Michael had picked out this jacket at Soka Skate Shop a while ago. I told him that I would try and go back and get it for Christmas if I could. He tried it on several times because he loved it so much and it is so warm and comfy. It is fully lined with the softest grey fur and it looked very nice on him. A few days after he showed it to me he noticed that it was the only one left in his size so he put it on hold for me to go get it. He asked every day if I picked it up and told him that I had not made it over to the store. He checked the store and saw it still on hold and was in a panic that they would sell it. What he did not know was that I had already called the store and made arrangements for it. I had a disappointed son when he thought it had been sold and I had not picked it up. So he was very excited when he opened the box and saw it inside and I was very happy that I was able to get it for him.

Spike making sure he is part of the Christmas fun.

Spike is actually buried under all that wrapping paper back there and has his new toy under there with him. We hear it squeak every once in a while. he seems to like it under there :-)

Spike poking his head out from his wrapping paper fort.

Michael's new chair is almost ready.

Stocking Time!

And now for the big gift.....
He has been wondering what is behind that door since he got home....

This gift could not really be wrapped...so we set it up in his room and locked his door and then wrapped the door. He has been wondering ever since he got home what was in there....

And here it is.....Michael's new computer!!!

He was very happy and very thankful....even though he was just blinded by the flash and cannot open his eyes all the way...hehe.

And that was our Christmas celebration with Michael. My mom will arrive later today and we will do Christmas once more with her and my niece Nikki.

Will be back soon - More to come!

Sorry for the long delay in posts. It has been a busy year and I have been trying to devote some time to working on my professional blog. ...
